William Hill makes another instant millionaire

William Hill has created its fourth slots millionaire this year, paying out £1.5 million to a Hampshire based man from the Clover Rollover jackpot on William Hill Bingo.

The payout is believed to be the biggest online payout in UK history, and was won with a spin of just £1. The player, who has identified himself as 'Simon', lined up 5 lucky shamrocks to earn himself an early December bonus of £1,566,056.

“This is one chap who won't be worrying about the credit crunch when it comes to buying his friends and family Christmas presents!” William Hill spokesperson Jennie Prest said of the massive payout.

“The Clover Rollover jackpot has been growing and growing and once it hit £1.5million we were really excited about when it might be won. It's been terrific to have that sort of payout up for grabs and hopefully the jackpot will grow to a similar amount again."
